I purchased this product because I have a Lorex IP NVR system in my home, already. Installation was easy. But the microphone doesn't work. I can hear the speaker on the unit, but I cannot hear when someone is speaking into it. I would not recommend this product.

This is very good product. I was hesitant to buy this due to some negative reviews I read before purchase. Installation took about 2 hours since I have a vynil siding. The doorbell transformer must generate at least 16V under load (doorbell ringing) in order the device to funcrion properly. Took me a day to come up with a proper sensitivity and distance coverage range. The quality of picture is great during day and night. Note that the night vision is black and white. I am happy with this product with respect to the price.

Better than ring

Such a better value than any subscription service. I little difficult to set up if you have the newest gadgets and modem as it only works on 2.4Ghz or as in my case your sister is in charge of the Internet and she takes a day or two to allow the device on the network, but once your internet is set up for it it connected right away and is easy enough to use if you are a “Ooo what does this do” kind of person.

Works as expected!

Love the doorbell it does everything it's supposed to do. Image is great, it's loud enough, easy-to-use. Only dawn fall is notifications are delayed on my phone and not on my wife's. Perhaps it need an app update. Other than that I'm pleased! Ho, and best part, no subscription!

A great and needed addition to my home

For many years now, I have used a Lorex 4 camera and DVR unit around my home. This was the year to get a video doorbell. I am so pleased with the resolution and video quality as well as the notifications that I get on the Lorex Home App. I am so happy with the video doorbell that I went ahead and order the Lorex Smart Home Security Center along with 4 more cameras to replace the current system.

The app on the phone is easy to use. The quality of the video is very good even at night. And you don’t have to have a subscription for the video storage. Highly recommend.

I added the doorbell video to my Lorex outdoor cameras and enjoy having the same brand on one app. I previous owned one Lorex camera and another brand name camera and had to mana get two different apps.
