This is an excellent doorbell

This is an excellent doorbell camera. Installation and integration with my old mechanical chime system went smoothly and the package contains everything you need for a successful install. I like that there are no fees, stores the video locally, and my wife and I can access are cameras from anywhere with the app. The motion sensor has been good at the standard sensitivity and usually only shows us what we need to see....very few videos of birds, squirrels, etc.

Easy installation. Works great - as advertised. I replaced Ring doorbell with this Lorex doorbell because no monthly fee, not necessary to remove and recharge every week because it works using doorbell 24v transformer, and best of all the response time is much faster. Ring doorbell so slow response that visitors are gone before my cell is notified.

I think a great addition to your line would be a door bell that connects to my existing Lorex NVR with POE and 4K. It would also be nice to see flood lights and siren features.

Just got the LNWDB1 Doorbell,

Just got the LNWDB1 Doorbell, and installed it. I've been wanting one of these for a year. Lorex came out with a product that mostly has what I want. I am having a blast, being able to see what's going on, without stepping outside. And, I'm happy with the purchase.
There are opportunities to improve the product. It is new, and they did a great job on a first iteration. Lorex will, hopefully, (as suggested in a question) have a firmware upgrade to make the doorbell available as a "camera" on their wireless camera systems. Also, the bracket needs to be improved. I dropped the tiny torx screw, that secures the doorbell onto the bracket, multiple times. I couldn't even get a magnetic driver that would hold onto it. The problem is having to hold the doorbell with one hand, while trying to get the screw situated with the other hand, in a very restricted space. The solution is simple; the bottom of the bracket should extend slightly past the front of the doorbell, and have a lip that the doorbell "clips" into. That would make securing the torx screw very easy.
This is an innovative product that allows a customer to maintain everything on their own system, requires no monthly fees and is priced comparably with the competition. I recommend this product, as is; and look forward to upgrades.
