I works well for vegan ice cream. I wish the splash/spout were a little larger, as the front of the mixer never fails to get the ice cream mixture on it. Otherwise a great addition to my kitchen.

This is a pretty nice little attachment the only thing I don't like is that a lot of ice cream sticks to the si'm gonna scratch it and I'm afraid I'm gonna scratch it when I'm scraping it off.. It does make good ice cream.

I am generally happy with the ability of the device to freeze ice cream, gelato. My only complaint is that the connection to my mixer does not allow the mixer to lock. As the ice cream freezes, it causes the mixer arm to jump less I hold it down. I need to get a hard silicone or plastic spatula to safely scrape the sides to remove all the ice cream after freezing to avoid scratching the bowl.
