I've only used it once so far to make Rocky Road ice cream, but it was much better than store bought and a lot healthier. Cuisinart makes a lot of ice cream recipe books, so I have a lot of choices in what I make in the future. This a really great add-on to my Cuisinart stand mixer.

This is a pretty nice little attachment the only thing I don't like is that a lot of ice cream sticks to the si'm gonna scratch it and I'm afraid I'm gonna scratch it when I'm scraping it off.. It does make good ice cream.

I works well for vegan ice cream. I wish the splash/spout were a little larger, as the front of the mixer never fails to get the ice cream mixture on it. Otherwise a great addition to my kitchen.
