This toaster is ok. I took one of pretty much the same model back. I kept the one with black sides, took back the all stainless steel model. Both had the same issue, but the one with the black sides was a little better. The problem with both - it oesn’t toast both sides of the bread evenly. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The Cuisinart 2 Slice Toaster in white matches my kitchen that’s why I bought it. After using it I noticed it works great and I’m really satisfied with my purchase now. I recommend this Toaster to anyone.

I have many cuisinart appliances and love them - the big mixer, large food processor, immersion blender , mini chopper, pots, pans, 4 slice toaster (for 15 years - works great) to list just a few. I bought this toaster because I lost my husband, downsized and thought I would save space. The outside wall doesn't toast - the bread on one side is brown and the other side white. For the first time I was disappointed with Cuisinart. Sorry

I like this toaster but find using the defrost setting to toast frozen waffles gets the waffles burned on the edges no matter how low I set it. Other than that, it works fineI would've expected a toaster from Cuisinart to defrost frozen waffles better than it does. If there is some trick to get it not to burn the edges, I would like to know what it is
