Works quite well. I don't know the value of the "bagel" setting since I don't usually toast whole or half bagels. I usually slice them so I get 3 or 4 slices to toast. Like the red color - goes with our kitchen backsplash.

After a couple of attempts, I figured out the correct setting (for my liking) of perfectly toasted bread. This toaster is great. The extra wide openings and the booster lever make getting bread in and out very easy. I also like the easy to pull out and clean crumb tray. I would rebuy and recommend this product.

It toast much more efficiently than my old toaster. Only reason not five starts is that it requires adjustment between types of bread/bagel/etc. If don't get the adjustment right, it burns.
