I was excited about the features of this toaster. BUT, one feature it's missing is the ability to toast a single piece evenly. It only toasts one side and you then need to turn it over to toast the second which then overbrowns the first side. Stuck with a toaster lacking what I consider a vital feature.

Great toaster for the price!!! Bought for 88-year-old mom to use in her assisted-living apartment and she LOVES it !!! Passed up other pricier toasters to get this one which advertised lifting up smaller items to grab without any tongs or fork or whatever and the feature works GREAT !!! Mom can easily take out her (very small) French-bread-toast and EVERYTHING is toasted so evenly !!!

The toaster setting has to be set much lower than my old one (#3 instead of #5)
The inside elements are hotter than the outer ones and will burn the toast unless you set it at a#2
