We have had this toaster for about 3 weeks, and it works pretty good. It toasts pretty evenly. I like the options to defrost or reheat, plus it has a bagel button.

Uneven Toasting Still A Problem for This Toaster

Second 2-slice compact plastic toaster seems to work the same as the first. Uneven toasting is my primary complaint. Right slot: toasts only the inside side of toast and often burns the bottom of the bagels. I purchased a new one hoping that the toaster might have been improved since I bought the first one in 2018. Sadly that was not the case. I love the design, color, compact size, pop up feature, but as far as the toasting process, it fails to toast evenly.
