Toaster burns bread on one setting and barely toast another kind of bread on the same setting. Some times the lift will not stay down when pushed

Unfortunately this toaster doesn’t toast evenly on both sides, one side burns while the other stays light, we need to flip toast half way in order to avoid this.

Toasts well but no tension on the level of darkness dial. It falls lower each time the toast pops up. You have to make sure you reset it before you toast again.

OK if you only want one side of the bread toasted

I only gave this toaster a 3-star rating because it only toasts on one side. If you put the setting on 2 or higher, it burns it. On a setting on 1, it only toasts on 1 side, not both.
