The cord is under the toaster, not in back so it is difficult to plug in.(bad design)
The bread is heated unevenly. Very dark in some places and not dark enough in others.

I bought this toaster because of the review on wire cutter. The problem I have had is getting it to toast evenly on both sides of the bread. My compromise has been to set it on a low setting then turn the bread and do it again. It was a reasonable price but it doesn’t work as well as my old Black & Decker
