Nice little toaster with a good spring to it. I like that you can raise the handle after it is finished to expose the toast further. Also the REHEAT function is nice if you wait to long to butter toast and it gets cold.

I have found that this toaster doesn't toast evenly.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the 2‑Slice Compact Plastic Toaster—we’re sorry to hear the toasting has been uneven. Uneven results can sometimes be improved by adjusting the browning control and ensuring the crumb tray is cleaned regularly, as debris buildup can affect proper heat distribution. Our Consumer Assistance Center would be happy to help troubleshoot or review support options at 1‑800‑726‑0190; please reference Ticket #8900638255 when you call. Thank you for your feedback, as it helps us improve performance and design in future models.

I purchased this toaster with an expectation that I would be disappointed despite the Cuisinart name. I am pleased to say that turned out not to be true! From the first time I put a slice of bread in, the toaster has consistently toasted my bread evenly and perfectly. I would recommend it to anyone , excellent value for the money!

Great toaster with a great price. Toasts fast and evenly. Also liked that it came in white.

As stated in many testing reviews, this is one of the few that gets the most "bang for the buck." Read the reviews for performance and pricing information. My family is very pleased, including our four-legged family member Mio-chan, who loves crunchy toast.

Purchased on sale so it was affordable. Even toasting & that’s all I expect from a toaster.

We replaced our old toaster with this 2 slice Cuisinart toaster and it is a huge upgrade for very little money. This toaster works quickly and accurately. Great purchase!

Pretty and compact! Slots are too short for artisan bread so
I cut them in half to get each end toasted at same time. This appliance is so quiet, I don’t even hear it when toast pops up. I would sh the darkness settings were a little more dark, as I like heavy toasting.
