It is a weak toaster. It is hard to adjust how dark the toast will be and toast will be almost untoasted on one side.

Cord storage very difficult to do! The time dial is easily moved by routine handling. Also, the toast does not lift up high enough when done - it is easy to burn your fingers!

I love this toaster. It is perfect for toast, English muffins, crumpets & bagels. The toasting level dial gives plenty of options. Then the cancel button is there should you wish to halt the process. It is a solidly built toaster, the cord goes from the back of the toaster allowing the toaster to sit firmly & evenly on the counter. It is extremely easy to clean the crumb tray. Lastly, it is very attractive. I bought the red one, which matched my kitchen color scheme. I highly recommend this two slice Cuisinart toaster.

It is a good toaster for the price and that is the reason that I bought it. I seldom use a toaster but I like to keep one in the kitchen. For those on a budget, like me, it offers a quality brand at a low price.

When making toast with regular type sandwich bread, use a low setting of 1 to 1.5 or you will have very burned toast! Good for bagels with a setting of 3-3.5.
