Very insubstantially constructed toaster. In service now for about 2 months, and we're noticing some uneven toasting. I've seen other reviews note that most toasters, even much more expensive ones, share similar build quality and performance. That being the case, the Cuisinart does offer a reasonable value proposition.

A nice functional toaster. Manual horribly too brief explaining dedicated button functions. It seems like an afterthought. More CYA legalese than useful information. Toast Shade Dial could have a bit more resistance. No indication of warmer interior or exterior toasting pattern.
