I replaced my older Kitchen Aide toaster that was great with this new Cuisinart which won’t toast both sides of a slice of bread the same!! I am not happy.

If you want one side of your bread toasted, this is the toaster for you. The inside coils almost burn your bread while the outside doesn't get toasted at all no matter what you set the toaster on. I really should have read the reviews before purchasing, but I honestly thought Cuisinart was supposed to be a good brand.

Wow our third Cuisinart product purchase this year. Couldn't be happier with both the form & function. The many toasting selections work great. Along with it's great looks which match both the can opener and coffee maker/hot water dispenser purchased earlier and the kitchen now hums along like a fine eating establishment! I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY PURCHASE. I WISH I WOULD HAVE KEPT MY OLD TOASTER WHICH HAPPEN TO BE A CUISINART STAINLESS STEEL BUT IT WAS OVER 20 YRS OLD AND STARTING TO FAIL. THE NEW TOASTER DOES NOT TOAST AS WELL. ONE SIDE WILL TOAST OK AND THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BREAD DOES NOT AS WELL.

This 2 slice toaster has every function you can think of. It's compact yet has a bagel setting, warmer and cancel. It replaced a 4 slice bagel toaster that took up way too much room. This is a fantastic value and toasts beautifully.

Slightly better than the Oster toaster that it replaced. It toasts evenly on about 75% of the surface. On bagels, there is always one edge very dark and opposite edge always much lighter. I expected better from Cuisinart because the coffeemaker is outstanding and the coffee bean grinder is very good as well. I also paid 50% more for Cuisinart over Oster.
