I BOUGHT THIS TOASTER ONE YEAR AGO. IT'S WORKING GOOD. JUST ONE CONCERN FOR NOW THE INSCRIPTIONS ERASED. I JUST MEMORIZED WHICH BUTTON INDICATE BAGEL, CANCEL. OTHERWISE IT'S STILL WORKING.

We had recently bought a beautiful 4 slice cuisinart toaster. I have many cuisinart small kitchen appliances and I wanted an exceptional product like cuisinart to purchase for my mother in law so we ordered the 2 slice toaster for her. We needed something for one person that was an excellent very reliable brand that would really last. Of course I chose Cuisinart.

first let me explain I like white. I have white appliances, with Oak cabinets. Not everyone is into stainless. I was replacing my old toaster of near 20years a white one. Looking for something basic, looking for something that didn't break the bank. Seems white is hard to find in stock. Honestly, who "special orders" a toaster? Anyways found this one at a store that I usually do not shop at. It is an okay toaster, but find that it does not toast the bread even. Some areas of the bread are browner that others. So you need to flip the bread slice and re-toast it. The cancel button does come in handy.
I miss my old toaster of 20 years ago. They just don't make them like they use to... but it's white, matches my kitchen = and didn't break the bank.

You get what you pay for. This was an inexpensive toaster. As is so common, made in China. The toaster cooks unevenly. One side cooks much darker than the other. The settings are easy to use so well designed, poorly executed in manufacture. It is functional and fits the limited space we have in a seasonal home, but I probably should have spent more and got something better.
