[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Bought this to replace the same model that finally gave up the ghost after 8-10 years (can't remember exactly but it was at least 8). Toasts well and evenly, defrost well. Right size. Right price. Good small appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift and tried it before trashing the box. It worked just fine for about a week and then I could not get it to hold the down position. I had to hit it at least 8 to 9 times before it stayed and would start to toast. I emailed Cuisinart but received no reply. I still use it but would not recommend it. Mornings are bad enough but pushing that lever again and again is frustrating. Adding to the frustration is not hearing from them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster doesn't toast bagels correctly. The bagel and regular toast are the same. I have many Cuisinart products that works great but sadly this toaster doesn't live up to it's name..
