After reading product reviews for many toasters, we settled on the Cuisinart. It seemed to have the features we needed at a price we were willing to pay. Nothing fancy - just the thing to toast 2 slices of bread without burning them. The toaster can also accomodate bagels, which we appreciate.

Our old toaster (not Cuisinart) started to have issues. So we bought a Cuisinart after recommendation from a friend. And they were right! This is a GREAT TOASTER! The settings are just right, no matter what you put in it. I wish we bought this long ago. We liked it so much we went back and bought the matching can opener, It work great also.
