I actually returned the toaster after we used it once.

Not impressed with my latest cuisinart aquisition. Its very cheaply made, doesnt like to latch down to toast. Doesnt do bagels well. Thank goodness I love my other cuisinart appliances or this would be my last
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The two-slice compact toaster (CPT-122) from Cuisinart is a wonderful combination of a dependable toaster at a reasonable price. This is my second one. The first lasted over 6 years. I am hoping this one lasts even longer!

Only complaint really is against some organization’s (don’t remember… maybe Wirecutter) high marks for this toaster, including comments on even toasting. Doesn’t toast evenly for me. Some spots darker and toasted, other spots light and not so toasted.
