I was hoping it would have longer "bread slots" to toast wide rye bread slices. I have to cut them in half. The toaster is, however, a size I can put on the lowest shelf in my upper cupboard which gives me more room on the counter top in my small apartment.

This toaster is a cheap piece of junk. It only toasts on one side no matter what setting. Oftentimes when the toaster is plugged in and I try to put the toast down using the lever, the lever just pop up again.

This Cuisinart CPT-122 (White) is a great toaster. It does exactly what it is expected to do - make good toast. I like the extra lift function that the lever provides to retrieve short pieces of toast. Great value to me - I can recommend it.

I bought another toaster that was metal. When I got it and made the first toast it was hot on the side and hotter at the top. I sent it back. I did not realize that my prior toaster was plastic and very nice to use, and so I started to shop plastic body toasters. This toaster is cool to the touch after making six pieces of toast, looks great, and is well made. I highly recommend it.
