Surprisingly to me I don't feel that I made the best choice. I find it difficult to consistently get the browness I want. When I do get what I want and go to do it another time later it doesn't do the same. But I'm hanging in there and trying to adjust.

This is my second one. The first one was replaced due to over toasting bread on one side. Unfortunately the replacement toaster is just as bad. Does not come close to toasting bread evenly and I have the setting clear down to 2. Very disappointed.

I’ve had a cuisinart toaster for years and it was great. Then the toaster lever just wouldn’t stay down so I couldn’t toast. I ordered a new cuisinart toaster because I liked the previous one. After two weeks the toaster lever wouldn’t stay down. I returned it and bought a different brand.
