Bagels are perfectly toasted! The bagel button is Magic, both sides are crispy. And I love the compact size.

It has toasted every type of bread well. Frozen, reheated and fresh. The setting buttons are a game changer. I wish there were more colors to pick from. Otherwise, it is great value at an incredible price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the wide slots. I use the defrost button for frozen pancakes! I can make dark toast for hubby and then change the setting and make lighter toast for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good basic toaster. Have used for toast, english muffins and fresh bagels 3-4 times a week for the last 2 months. All controls work well.

First, I was shopping by price! I was pleasantly surprised to see the Cuisinart name in this price range. Admittedly, near the top of the range, but still... The toaster feels sturdy and well built. I love the feature that allows you to set specifically for bagels and English muffins. My wife loves the "toast/defrost" feature, as she keeps her bread in the freezer. The benefit of the "lift" ability really helps when toasting smaller items. All in all, great toaster; for almost any price, ALMOST!
