First the positive - it’s slim and very pretty.
The negative - it does not toast both sides. I have to use a light setting and flip it for a second cycle to get both sides toasted. This is perhaps a design flaw, but I expect better from Cuisinart.

I purchased this toaster primarily for bagels, but its slots are not quite deep enough by ~1/2", so the top edges are barely toasted on 50% of the bagels. Also, the browning is spotty on the lower settings. In order to get even browning, the setting has to be set to 5 or 6.

I was very disappointed with the quality of this toaster. The plastic knob & buttons are flimsy - not the Cuisinart quality I expected. Additionally, This toaster burns items unless it's at the very lowest settings (1-2).

Good toaster, great price. It runs a little on the hot side but it’s brand new. I find a 2-3 setting works great for white bread. Hopefully this means it’ll last a long time and I can just bump the setting up as it ages.
