Nice look, but toasting performance is just okay

Very nice looking on our countertop. Does not toast evenly on both sides. One side is a nice light brown, but the other is very light. There are two reasons for this. The bread does not center in the slot and the heating elements do not appear to heat the same on both sides.

A quality, no frills toaster that does exactly what it should do at a very fair price point. It toasts evenly and uniformly and it looks good to boot

Very uneven toasting. Unacceptable. This toaster had great reviews, but performance is what matters in the end.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great toaster. Even heating. Heating elements on both sides of the toast.
