Decent, basic toaster. I find I have to use the lower settings to not burn things. Anything above 3.5/7.0 is black.

This is a no nonsense toaster that is simple to use and just works beautifully. It consistently toasts uniformly on both sides of the bread and works well with frozen waffles. Also, it is very reasonably priced.

This is a very nice toaster, but I find that the bread doesn't toast evenly on both sides, so I have to turn it halfway through. I've had to do that with every toaster I've ever owned -- and I've had many over the years and all different brands. This one is just as good as all the others and I like it better than most of them, but I had hoped it would toast both sides evenly and am disappointed in that one thing.
