Our toaster replacement still has same problem: toast burning on the inside coils and not toasting on the outside. Same flaw.

The unit would not toast evenly or consistently on either side of the bread. I tried different settings for different types of bread based on the instruction manual and still had poor results. I returned it to the store after 2 weeks of daily trial and error.
