Just an ok toaster. It feels cheap. Bread gets toasted but not very fast. It makes very little noise when it pops up. It does the job but is nothing special. I feel it is overpriced.

This toaster is light and simple to operate with a dial to manage how light dark you want the toast to be. Nice also that it’s not pricey and will last you at least 10-15 years.

Having a cool to the touch exterior is one of the most important features to me. The different toasting options are terrific, and the dial is easy to read. When toasting only one slice of bread, however, one side gets considerably darker. This is the only reason I did not rate it five stars.

We are very disappointed in this toaster. We purchased one 5 years ago that finally stopped toasting. It was about a 4 star, producing fairly even toasted bread. This toaster burns the outside of each slice and under toasts the inside of both slices. We set it on 2, which worked for three days of toasting. By the 4th day, that setting was burning the outside and has continued doing so. We still use it since we can't afford to purchase another one right now. We will just look inside and pop the toast out when it appears to be ready. We trusted Cuisinart's name, so the purchase was based on brand trust.
