Very uneven toasting, one side dark and one side light. Not all of the heating elements get hot. This was the very reason I bought this toaster and junked the old one! Seems to be a common issue with all brands after looking at reviews.

Heating elements toast 3 shades darker on the bottom of the bread compared to the top. Bottom is charred and top is very light when the selector is on 3. It’s impossible to get even medium brown without prematurely ejecting bread and flipping it upside down, then baby sitting until it’s uniformly toasted without incineration. Uneven toasting is a deal breaker despite other nice features. It’s a toaster! Please toast correctly!
