I bought this product because of the thermal carafe but it does not really keep coffee hot for a long time, the most is an hour and by the time I add cream the coffee is cold. It does not get the water very hot on the right side if you just want hot water. Really don't like where the water well is located, a little cumbersome.

Great coffeemaker. I love using the auto setting. I can’t figure out why it makes louder noises at times but more often than not it’s a typical coffeemaker sound. The pour is much to be desired because of the container and design. You have to turn the pot completely upside down towards the end and play with it to get the last half cup out. I accidentally dropped the lid and a chunk broke off but it’s still functional. Tried to find a replacement but unsuccessful. My wife enjoys the hot water feature for her tea and it eliminated the justification for a 5-gallon filtered water dispenser (w/hot water feature) that we had in our last home. Now we have 1-gallon sized water delivered which takes up less space. I would have given it 5-stars if it weren’t for the pot design which makes pouring a bit frustrating.

It’s fine. It’s just we are used to our old cuisinart. Hate that doesn’t have water reserve. Whatever amt of water you want to make- you put in, can’t fill up all the way and program certain amt of cups. Plus difficult to pour the water in it, it’s next to the coffee filter/coffee. Hard to read the water line on the side too. Just really like old cuisinart coffee maker. Going back and buying it again. The side hot water for a cup of tea/hot chocolate is great though.

I set it up night before and I have HOT coffee in the morn. I still have HOT coffee hours later. The hot water side takes just a few seconds to warm up for tea or food prep use.
I had a Keurig, which I still do (Hubby uses it for his 1 cup of special coffee), but I found the water would not heat up to "right" temp... by the time I doctored my cup, it was cold. Not now!!!

It works great however it is very difficult to clean as the spout is too narrow. Had to buy a bottle brush to clean the inside. Also the water reservoir is hard to fill, need to use something with a spout to avoid getting water everywhere

Coffee maker and hot water systems very convenient and work great. Carafe keeps coffee hot for hours which was one of our requirements for us in buying a coffee maker. So after first few months of use all good.
