I bought this coffee maker about 6 months ago and it has been a very good coffee maker. The coffee brews nice and hot and stays hot for several hours. No matter which brand of coffee I use it comes out delicious. The only draw back is when you pour the coffee out of the stainless steel pot; the coffee comes out pretty well until you get to the end, then the coffee stream begins to come out slow and erratic. And usually the last half cup doesn't come out at all.

I've had this coffee maker for six months now. It's dependable, it's fast both in
brewing coffee and in heating water, it doesn't leak (a big problem I've had with other coffee makers), and it's sturdy (feels solid...not light/flimsy). As for the water-heating feature, I thought it would come in "handy", but in fact I use it every night. I'm now totally addicted to its convenience. The one negative issue I had with the machine was pouring water into the wells (there is one for coffee and one for just hot water) without slopping it everywhere. It was difficult, if not impossible, to do it with the coffee carafe. I happen to have a pitcher that aims the water perfectly and I now keep it by the machine. I consider it a minor problem compared to the machine’s positive features and great performance.

I wanted to move away from my single serve Keurig and after reading a lot of reviews and exploring different options, I had decided on this one. I was somewhat discouraged by some of the negative reviews and when this maker sold out from the online retailer I wanted to purchase from I almost got something else. We aren’t huge coffee drinkers only needing about 1-3 cups per day, but I also like tea, especially in the colder months. I like that I can have both without having two machines taking up counter space. I love that it has a reusable basket, as reducing waste was one reason I wanted a drip pot. I love the auto brew feature and the stainless carafe is great for keeping it warm since I set it for my husband who is up a few hours before me. I’ve temped the coffee several times after it has sat for 2-4 hours and it is still at least 135. Actually I forgot about it the first night when I wanted to test with just hot water and the next day it was still at least 120 so the carafe keeps it nice and warm. I’ve had zero issues with hot water tasting like coffee like some reviews said. It makes a tasty cup of coffee and is easy to use and clean. My only complaint is that you really have to tip the carafe almost upside down to get the coffee to pour out, which is kinda annoying but probably needed to be able to keep it so hot for so long. Another selling point is cuisinart customer service. I had another one of their appliance go out on me after only two years and they shipped me a brand new one.

I bought this in December as a Christmas gift for my husband. He used it the same day and said it made the best coffee he has ever had. I don't drink coffee but I have used the hot water despenser to make hot tea, hot cocoa and Ramen noodles. I love it. It's convenient to use, easy to fill and makes coffee in a matter of seconds. I will never own anything else so when we have to replace this one I will buy another just like it.

We have tried more expensive, more features machines but they are tempermental and break easily. The last one we had, needed cleaning every 3 times we made coffee. This is our second cuisinart coffee maker. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot all day. You can make smaller batches of coffee and we love the hot drink maker in the right side.Highly recommend it!!

I'm old enough to have been making and drinking coffee for over 45 years and this is truly the best coffee maker ever. My husband and I both love the hot water tap but we mostly use the coffee maker. It is simple to use, makes great coffee and keeps it the perfect temperature until the pot is done.

We have had 2 break in less than a year. Don’t bother buying this unit. The hot water function worked great for about 3 months then stopped. Cheaply made. Coffe side is fine & thermal carafe works great Now I have this huge machine & only 1/2 of it works
