The coffee maker is great, easy to operate. The coffee does not stay hot. After the coffee brew, the pot shuts off and the coffee get cold fast. I changed coffee maker, because the other one didn't get hot. The same brand.

great coffee. Taste of coffee in the water? I drew water from the water heater to make tea for my wife for several days. She said the tea had a taste of coffee in it. I did not think this was possible since the water reservoir for the coffee maker and the water heater are separate - but there you have it.

We have a split household, I am a coffee drinker and she is a tea drinker. This machine gives us tge best of both worlds. Love thf thermal carafe, coffee doesn't get bitter and stays drinkable for at least 6 hrs. Program first thing and don't worry about bitter tasting coffee when you get up. Great Machine!

We love this product. The metal carafe is the best feature. No burner to keep heating the coffee and the coffeemaker is on for less time. It only needs to be on while brewing. Great!! BUT we also loved our last Cuisinart which totally broke down after 2 yrs and 2 months. It should have lasted much longer. I have never had a coffeemaker last less than 10 years. With heavy daily use (like ours) I still expect it to last 5 years. So we will see how this second unit does over time.

I like the product altogether. That only thing unattractive is the design of the carafe. Coffee doesn't flow nicely out of it. Sometimes you wish it was a regular coffee pot instead. Other than that it's fine.

Thermal carafe stays hot for hours when its off

Immediately the lid started warping from steam, within months the hot water dispenser stopped working, does not release hot water. Carafe is wonderful stays hot for hours after turning off machine. Very convenient. Although the machine has flaws. Buy the warranty, it will be worth the purchase.
