Good tasting wake up morning coffee! I fill to the 6 cup line & measure coffee to taste. My coffee "mug" is filled 3 times which is plenty of caffeine in the a.m. for 1 person. I use the "safe" hot water dispenser for instant decafe at the end of the day.

Bought it for the thermal carafe and the hot water feature and I’m very pleased. Coffee tastes great and carafe keeps coffee hot for several hours. When it beeps to signal brewing is complete it actually is - water is completely drained from brewing basket and the brewing basket doesn’t leak on the way to the trash.
