So this fryer actually performs quite well. It heats quickly. The fryer also is pretty easy to clean. The problem comes in when you have to replace the oil for one it takes quite a bit of oil and two the oil seems to dirty very quickly. That could be what I fry so I'm not knocking off stars for that what I am knocking off is how quick it uses oil as well as the material quality and how the cord constantly comes unplugged.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can’t use olive oil in fryer, so I have not tried it. I prefer the healthier choice of using olive oil.

My neighbor gave this to me for the holiday because he wants to eat all this high fat fried food. The fryer works as expected, but makes a much bigger mess than anticipated and is difficult to clean. Pouring the oil out and cleaning it after every use is a big chore!

I like the fryer and have used it several times. This was a upgrade for us as we had a smaller one for several years, which up passed on to a grandson. One of the features that attracted me about this fryer was the timer. The first unit I received had a faulty timer. (when set to less than 5 min. I would run for 2 min. and stop, no chime) It was exchanged. Same problem with the new unit. Good fryer forget the timer.

It's great deep fyer with a large capacity basket. You can deep fry a lot at once the only issue is that it takes awhile to get up to tempeture.
