I have been manually making pour-over coffee for several years so I was excited to try an automated pour-over coffeemaker. The coffee tastes better! I prefer the bold and extra hot settings. It is so easy to use just the right ratio of water and grounds. The coffee stays warm for up to 2 hours. I bought the model with the glass carafe and have had no problems with any leaks while pouring coffee. Overall it is easier and faster to make great coffee. I am very satisfied with this machine.

Makes good coffee but a bit tall for countertops. With the lid open (to let it dry out) the upper cabinet door cannot be opened. Also, there are two separate lids, one for coffee, one for the water. That's OK but they cannot be opened at the same time to let both insides dry. The inside of the basket for the coffee filter basket has a particular slot that is not convenient; the basket cannot just be dropped in. The coffee filter basket must be positioned just right for the lid to close properly.

I have been using my new Cuisinart Pour-Over Coffee Maker for two weeks. I'm sorry I didn't get one sooner. The coffee brews quickly and tastes great. I am also now using a burr-grinder for my beans and filtered water, and the taste is fantastic. I really like the stainless thermal carafe instead of glass. The coffee stays at a hot/warm temperature and doesn't taste old or burned. Safer too! I also liked the fact that I read Cuisinart like-capacity carafes are standard size. The display is easy to operate. It is not too high to fit under most cabinets, and I purchased a medium-sized sliding shelf/base so that I can easily slide the machine to the front of my counter when I am making and brewing. The only thing that took a bit to get used to was going from my 10-cup carafe down to the 8 cup - some experimenting with the amount of coffee/water ratio. Once I found the right measurement, it's been great ever since. It really is a pour-over taste from an electric machine and I highly recommend.

Excellent choice for me. Pour over coffee has been part of my daily life for a long time. I was looking for an easier way to enjoy the treat but would not give up the final result. This brewer takes a little time to get the process just right, but the results surpass the expectations.

Love this coffee maker! I have been researching automatic pour over machines for a long time and finally settled on this one. Reasons: brand name reputation, programmable, stainless thermal pot, beautiful design. The machine is wonderful! Keeps coffee and hot water hot for hours, and I mean at least 3 hours if not longer. Coffee is pour over delicious and it is jot overly large. It does make a little noise sometimes, mainly when Im not using a paper filter and just brewing for hot water; a slurping noise that i believe is the specialty lid that makes it possible to brew through and not have air get in too much. Not a huge deal. I also purchased a sleek wooden sliding tray to set it in so i can easily pull it out to fill. Love it! Highly recommend!!
