The product makes a very good cup of coffee. The pour over enhances the flavor. My only negative is that the carafe is not available in retail stores as a replacable item. On a dover, I would spend the extra money and get a stailess carafe

I bought this pour over because it's really nice looking and easy to use. What ISN'T explained anywhere is that tthis method of making coffee emphasizes the acidity and I got a whopping stomach ache--I substituted the stainless filter for a paper one because I read online that this method with paper can help lower cholesterol. I've gone back to using my French press but will try this pour over again with the stainless filter and a LOW ACID coffee. Aside from this important information about the pour over method, it WORKS beautifully.
