The brewer is a relatively new purchase, but so far my I am extremely pleased. Although I wished it would make just one more cup than it does, the brewer produces enough for me to have a cup and then fill up a travel mug for myself and my wife before we leave for work. I do think it is overpriced, but I am a huge fan of the stainless steel carafe. I'm too violent when washing the glass style carafes so their life span is drastically shortened in my hands.

I bought this coffee maker to replace the Cuisinart DCC–1200, which I had for many years and worked well, but finally died.
I researched a number of the pour-over “showerhead” coffee makers, and decided to try one with this feature hoping it would enhance the flavor of my coffee.
I’m not a coffee connoisseur like my friend who roasts his own beans, but I do have a pretty good pallet, and enjoy complex dark roast blends. I was pleasantly surprised with the improvement in flavor from the first use. My experience is that the flavor is more robust, smoother and we’ll-rounded than what my previous Cuisinart produced.
I like the ability to choose the temperature and intensity of flavor settings. “Hot” and “Bold”
work best for me, and I’m sure others would be happy that other options are available (Mild and Medium).

I hate burnt tasting coffee, so I also like the ability to adjust how long the hot plate stays on; you can choose from 1 to 60 minutes.
Settings are simple and user-friendly.
I make only 4 cups at a time, and it works great for smaller brews.

Improved Our Home Coffee experience Greatly. Wanted better coffee flavor at home and this coffeemaker did that. I knew our coffee wasn't hot enough from our old drip maker. The coffee from this machine is noticeably Hotter, and so more flavor extracted, and "No Bitterness". This coffeemaker is only 8 Cups. That is the only problem we have had with it. We are used to a 10 Cup brewer.

I am a coffee lover and I want the best I can get. This coffee maker produces the same cup of coffee I used to make with a Chemex by standing over the Chemex pouring a little water at a time into the filter. It is good looking and straight forward. Every adjustment I want without a confusing interface. it looks good on the counter too.
