It's a nicely built machine, but I was hoping for more. Seems the coffee is just average, similar to my cheap coffee maker. Maybe I had my hopes too high for restaurant quality? Any suggestions?

The coffee pot does not keep the coffee hot. I’m very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loved the machine but we are no longer able to use it as we have a broken carafe and there’s no replacement. Investing in a new one seems like throwing money away.

Carafe Problem
on February 13, 2026

A portion of the black plastic carafe handle broke off - never dropped or otherwise mishandled. No replacement carafe available. Coffee maker purchased slightly more than just one year ago. Makes good coffee but the lack of a quality carafe and/or a replacement part is a disappointment.

We’re sorry to hear about the issue with your carafe and appreciate you sharing your feedback. Although your unit is out of warranty, there are plenty of replacement options available for purchase on our website that may fit your needs. We’d be happy to help identify the correct part so you can continue enjoying your coffee maker.

Not really what I hoped for. Doesn't have a real alternating seep cycle like the KithenAid, resulting in a bland taste. Also the water markings on both carafe and water tank are useless. AND there is NO ready tone.

Carafe is falling apart and cannot be replaced

I researched pour-over coffee makers and splurged on this one 2 years ago. I have just noticed that the handle on the carafe is cracked and probably not going to last much longer. Apparently, there is no replacement carafe offered. I have used Cuisnart for decades, and this is the first time I have been disappointed.

I am right handed and it is awkward pouring the water in the reservoir since it is on the left side. I also don’t like that you can’t smell the coffee while it is brewing.
