We love this coffee maker, perfect size for 2 people. Now that the handle on the carafe has broken and there is no replacement I will not buy another cuisinart product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I tried other coffee makers and sent them back because they had to many parts take take off and put on before making a pot of coffee, others had coffee all over the counter just trying to pour a cup. I found this model and it was simple to use and it makes a great cup of coffee. I only wish it was a 10 cup instead of 8 but I can live with that. I’ve seen negative reviews about the glass carafe but I haven’t had any issues. Good job Cuisinart.

Awesome coffee maker but the carafe is terrible and Cuisinart doesn’t sell a replacement!

Carafe Problem

A portion of the black plastic carafe handle broke off - never dropped or otherwise mishandled. No replacement carafe available. Coffee maker purchased slightly more than just one year ago. Makes good coffee but the lack of a quality carafe and/or a replacement part is a disappointment.

Very good coffee-easy to use and clean, the "most important" of aspects of a good coffee maker. Quite happy with that. However... I find it annoying that the instructions instruct to unplug after each use- if that is truly necessary spare the expense of putting a clock on the front I can't imagine anyone looking forward to setting the clock with each use!! ...and pass it on to your consumers

It would be a 5 star but the carafe drips and spills EVERYTIME I use it... Come on Whats going on... I would take this back for a full refund If the box hadnt gotten wet. You should hang your heads in shame for making an other-wise good product bad.!!!!
