I have blood sugar issues, so I bought this specifically to make sugar-free ice cream. So far I've made stevia-sweetened chocolate chip ice cream, kahlua ice cream, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and mango frozen yogurt. They all came out AMAZING. Super delicious, great texture. Truly the best sugar-free ice cream and frozen yogurt I've ever had. My husband, who can eat sugar, thinks it's amazing too, even though it's sweetened with stevia. The process of making ice cream is very easy, fast, and fun. I've made ice cream at dinner time, cleaned the freezer bowl and put it in the freezer that evening, and made ice cream the next day at dinner time. Love it! So happy I got it! And my husband is too!

I purchased the ice cream maker to make ice cream and sorbets at home without preservatives. My husband had open heart surgery and I wanted to ensure he was getting a healthy treats during his recovery and in the future. It's been a lot of fun experimenting with sorbets, frozen yogurt and non- dairy low fat versions. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is that many of the recipes I make are low fat and so the ingredients stick to the sides of the freezing container, wasting a portion of the ice cream. I used coconut milk with one batch and because of the high fat content it did not stick to the sides. So if you are making traditional high fat ice cream you will not have an issue with the sticking to the sides. If only they could make a container that would not stick with the low or no fat recipes it would be a 5 star product.

Love this Cool Creations Ice Cream Maker!!! It makes really nicely textured ice cream. Also made a non-dairy 'ice cream' that turned out fabulous. I keep the bowl in my freezer at all times so we can make frozen desserts whenever we feel like it. Much easier and less messy than traditional ice cream makers using ice and rock salt.

It’s junk. I returned mine. The ice cream barely froze and the compressor made a horrible noise the entire time. Get one that has the ability to freeze without having to freeze after making.
