Excellent product I’ve used it about 10 times already it’s easy to use it works great easy to clean and so far I’ve made the best gelato and ice cream that you can get it’s 10 times better than the star everybody in the family loves it. I bought this machine to replace a very old one i had . We have an abundant about of raspberries and I love making raspberry sherbet & sorbet. The machine was easy to use and was faster than i expected. The sherbet was so creamy and fluffy & ready to eat .Cleanup was also much easier than my old machine. Great product!

I’ve had this product about a month, and have made several batches of ice cream. Once I got the hang of it, each batch came out perfectly. It is quiet (especially by ice cream maker standards), quick and very simple to operate. My only complaint is that it does not make the entire 2 quarts advertised.

Easy to use but takes time to freeze bowl/mixtures

Super easy to use and not nearly as loud as some reviewers made it seem. I keep the bowl in the freezer all the time which is what I recommend if you have the room. Also, make sure your freezer is set to 0 degrees or the bowl won’t ever freeze completely, and keep in mind most ice cream recipes require you to chill whatever mixture you’re using for several hours. My ice cream has come out better when I leave the mixture chill overnight before putting it into the machine. It makes 4 pints which is perfect for me and my husband.

Overall, I'm very happy with this ice cream maker. I've previously owned just a hand-cranked machine by another manufacturer, and the texture of the ice cream made with the Cuisinart is far superior. So far, I've only used recipes that accompany the Cuisinart and they have all made delicious ice cream and gelato. There are a few small complaints that keep me from giving 5 stars. First of all, the instructions do not indicate how long each of the cycles take (ice cream, gelato, sorbet), so when the recipe calls for adding ingredients just before fully churned, I have no idea when that should be. Also, with some of the Cuisinart recipes, the ice cream came out over the top before the cycle finished. The ice cream appeared done so presumably some batches do not need full churning time, but the ice-cream maker directions do not indicate that you need to watch it before the timer ends. One last complaint is that the lid is a bit finicky to get on once the cylinder is in place. But overall, the machine makes excellent ice cream. If the instructions provided clearer instructions on timing, and the lid was easier to put on, it would be perfect.

Got a replacement for an older unit. Their customer service is amazing! They stand by their warranty. I have made so many of the great recipes in the book that is included. Yes you do have to let some harden in the freezer but the other options besides ice cream are great also.
