Makes good icecream. Purchased this to make pistachio icecream with real pistachios. It is hard to get pistachio icecream locally with pistachios. They normally only sell it as pistachio but contains almonds. We made it and it is delicious. Also mad strawberry icecream. The strawberry one overflowed I think we will alter the recipe next time. Am happy with purchase but we have to cut back on enjoying it. Soooo many calories. Hahaha

I have made quite a bit of ice cream since buying the Cuisinart ice cream maker. I have made vanilla, strawberry and peach. I use Junket tablets, cream, milk some sugar and splenda. The recipe is from the junket package. Most commercial ice cream has little cream or milk.I have 4 quarts in my freezer now which I will take the next timeI visit my great-grandchildren.
