Works better than I expected. We eat a lot of ice cream so we bought an extra freezer bowl. The machine came with shipping damage but does not affect its making fine ice cream, just nasty looking cosmetic damage on the front meta housing.

I heard there are machines that also cool for you, but it's not much of a hassle to keep the bowl frozen in the freezer so it's always ready to make another batch of Gelato out Ice cream. It works great. Use a 20% off at Bed Bath & Beyond, online for the best deal.

Hard to imagine an ice cream maker that's more perfect than this one . . . operation is easy and flawless. I like the quantity this produces so I've got a few days of treats in the frig with each batch. This is my first ice cream maker, so I don't have a basis for comparison, nonetheless I can't help but recommend it. If this newbie can make outstanding ice cream this easily, anyone can.

We love the Cool Creations Ice Cream Maker. We bought an extra tub so we can make two batches for big gatherings. We've made ice cream and frozen yogurt. Both were great. It's compact and it's so nice not having to add ice and ice cream salt. I highly recommend it.

Makes good icecream. Purchased this to make pistachio icecream with real pistachios. It is hard to get pistachio icecream locally with pistachios. They normally only sell it as pistachio but contains almonds. We made it and it is delicious. Also mad strawberry icecream. The strawberry one overflowed I think we will alter the recipe next time. Am happy with purchase but we have to cut back on enjoying it. Soooo many calories. Hahaha
