[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that they lowered the price to below that of the C1, I decided this was the better set for us. The performance specifications are basically the same being the difference in the Web OS. The C1 has a newer version, which is slightly better but since I am using a Roku Ultra box it really is not a feature I care about. The 55GXPUA has a thin uniform back made of all metal compared the the C1 that packs the electronics on the lower bottom with a plastic back, which for a wall mount is simply not as clean. Since this TV was being mounted on a rock chimney a uniform back was more critical. While this set does come with a wall mount (and a stand is an optional addition), it's objective is to make a very close mount to the wall with no tilt. So for this application a pull out mount with tilt adjustment is far better and easier to install. To the right of the Chimney is an open atrium with a 20X20 window wall that lets in late afternoon sun. This OLED is the first TV we have had in this location that gives a great picture regardless of the amount of light (the picture was taken in late afternoon, with the sun streaming in). This set is simply perfect for this location and when you put up the art screen saver, it does look like a framed picture. Very happy with this set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thinnest, clearest and sharpest TV we've ever seen. The other day we had a friend over and the TV was on in the background . . . She said she thought the guy on TV was actually in the room. Super easy to hang (two person job though), easy to set up and great to watch!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely the most beautiful TV I’ve had or seen. The quality is unreal. Unfortunately after less than two months of use I turned the tv on and there was a thick white line in the middle of the screen. LG sent someone to fix it right away however when you spend this much money you expect the product to work for a very long time. I had the tv professionally installed and when it broke I had to remove it from the wall myself so they could fix it and then reinstall after. This is extremely inconvenient with a tv this size. Proceed with caution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this about 3 weeks ago, and I am not disappointed. I watched 1917 in 4K the day we mounted the tv, and I was pretty amazed with the quality.
The mount is pretty amazing to be so thin and so sturdy, and despite other reviews was pretty easy to install.
The only thing I worry about is long term with the pixel burning with an OLED.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 3 months ago. It was easy for me (78 years old) and my son to install. Family and friends are blown away with the screen quality and especially the framed artwork that can be displayed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this because of the wall mount feature with no gaps. Ended up installing shiplap on the wall that the TV is mounted on. The cables went behind the wall with a smurf tube so this is a really clean look. Only use the frame feature once and awhile as there is not a lot of content and the pictures last a short time. The pluses are the picture is fantastic and the sound is better than most TVs that are this slim. Most of the time I use the TV with an Apple TV 4K and use a pair of Homepods for sound. Would like the TV to support the Homepods. The remote is OK but find it more convenient to use the separate remotes. All in all this is a great TV and if you dig down you will see that it has been future proofed.
