[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always owned LCD and LED TVs and this was my first purchase of an OLED TV. Let me start off by saying, I am blown away! Let's start with the setup. When I heard I had to wait for the install team to have my TV installed, at first I was a little annoyed and couldn't understand why. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait!!! The TV looks absolutely stunning mounted in the wall. The wall mount is thin and hides within the TV so the TV is literally hugging the wall. I wasn't able to hide the cables within the wall due to concrete behind the wall but I did manage to purchase a strip to hide the cables and it painted it so you can't really tell. I was amazed when I saw how thin the TV actually is. The picture quality on the TV is magnificent. The TV is a work of art and can't be compared to anything in the market. The Dolby Atmos speakers changed my life. I can't go back to watching "basic" tv now. Every time I have guests over, the first thing they notice is how beautiful the TV looks on the wall and then I turn it on. I've received a lot of compliments on the quality of the TV and even had people come over just so they can check out the TV. My current setup is with a soundbar system as well as a video game console. Gaming on this tv is a whole different experience. I had slower refresh rates on my previous televisions and on this one its perfect. I love everything about the tv but my favorite features are the Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. My wife also loves and appreciates the art gallery that comes with different art pieces. We sit there and try to guess which artist made the piece. The tv also comes with a magic remote which is fun to use. I love that it has a cursor option which makes using the on-screen keyboard easy to use. Over the weekend, my wife and I watched Monsters Inc. and Monsters University through Disney+. It supported both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. The picture quality was crystal clear, even watched some of the movie during the daytime and the colors popped. The Dolby Atmos speakers made me feel like I was there. Specially the stadium scene in Monsters University! I recently invited over a friend of mine and convinced him to purchase one! I didn't think LG could pull it off but they've just made a believer with this one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My TV was professionally installed by a local Home Theater specialist company. It took 3 guys about 4 hours to remove the old TV & bracket, install a large recessed box and new wall mount, then mount the TV to the wall. At one point, there were a total of 5 guys at my house working on this. I have since looked at the work done, and I can see that it is more work than just mounting a regular flat screen, but I would still say it is something that I could have done myself. However,I am very glad I didn't have to do it! It is a true flat mount design. My wall isn't perfectly flat, but the TV still sits almost perfectly flush, and unbelievably slim.
The picture quality is impressive. I had a 9 year old plasma screen that was very good for it's time. I swore I would never buy an LCD set because the technology cannot provide very good black levels. OLED was definitely the right choice. Black levels are so dark, I cannot see any light emission from the areas of the screen that are black, but the remaining image is bright and clear. Take a look at the picture of the earth at night to see what I mean. Another benefit of OLED is the viewing angle. You can still see a clear picture over a full 180deg of view.
I had a Shield streaming TV box connected to my old TV, but decided that I would try using the built-in apps on the new TV to see how well they worked. The Smart TV functions (Apps such as Netflix, Hulu,, Disney+, etc) work very well, I have had some issues with Netflix where I have to force close the app and restart it to get a video to play. This is annoying, but thankfully, it is a simple task to close all apps and start over. So far, I have not had he desire to return to the Shield. Great job LG!!
My biggest issue is with the external speaker setup. I have a Yamaha speaker bar and I wanted to have it controlled via HDMI, so that the TV could adjust the volume. I can configure the speaker as HDMI connected, but I can only sync power control. I don't get any sound. I also tried optical,and I can get sound, but no volume control. My final attempt was through Bluetooth. Finally, I can get volume control, but now I cannot control power and I have to enable it so the bluetooth connection will start.
***Update*** The WOM team provided some guidance to help with my speaker bar issues. Unfortunately, the information did not fix my problem. I am now looking for an alternate speaker bar that will work correctly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was beyond thankful when this TV arrived. Having read up on it I knew I was in for a treat once it was set up. I was fortunate enough to have it professionally installed by a tech named Frank that was well versed in this particular TV and it's new, custom flush mount bracket.
Once it was hung, it really did look beautiful on the wall. This was already replacing another big brand TV that I thought had a great picture until I saw this GX turned on. WOW. Everything about this TV is top notch. Great picture, perfect blacks and the gaming mode works great between our systems.
The magic remote is very advanced, I was surprised during setup I was able to have it learn and take over my cable remote. It's able to access all of the menus, DVR, etc. with no issue. I can truly operate my TV with 1 single remote now.
I've read great things about the built in sound but it didn't compare to my soundbar and wireless subwoofer I already had so I opted for that for audio output. The unfortunate thing when going this route and probably the biggest con for me is the sound variation between shows, channels and commercials. My older TV was able to balance it all out and decrease any spikes in audio. I may ultimately look into an LG soundbar to replace my current setup to fix the audio issue.
Since the audio issue is my only con I'd definitely recommend this to friends, family and other consumers interested in a TV that mounts perfectly flush to your wall and gives you a beautiful picture. Whether you use it for TV, movies, or gaming, this TV will definitely perform for you. We've also hooked up our laptop occasionally via HDMI - USB-C cable for the homeschooling zoom calls and classes lately and it's been a great help as well.
While the TV is on, you have the option of accessing a "Gallery" that has tons of beautiful artwork and photos which turns your TV into an art frame. The images look perfect and with the way the TV mounts flush it really looks great on the wall. It was a feature I knew about but wasn't sure if I'd use it but it really does look nice if we have company over and don't necessarily have the TV playing anything.
Thanks LG for making a top notch TV with an awesome bracket to really show it's beauty.

TV was very high quality with the latest technology integrated. I had it connected to google so I can use it to start and stop an app. You can also easily mirror your laptop and phone to the TV. I switched the space X launch screen from my mac to the LG TV without any issues. Color was sharp and just wait until you watch a cooking show! All my friends complemented on the color contrast of the TV. Additionally, the TV is beautifully flush mounted to the wall; with the gallery option on really makes you feel like you at a museum. Overall, the TV looks beautiful in the living room with our dark painted wall and all the cables hiding behind the wall.

The installers did an amazing job, everyone who has seen our TV can't believe how flush it is agains the wall. I absolutely love that I have instant access to Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, etc without having to switch back and forth between inputs. I've watched news, movies, reality TV, comedies, and more and every thing I watch is better than the last. The quality is amazing and really feels like the show is right there in front of me. Picture Mode - You can pick and choose many different picture mode (Standard, Cinema, Sports, Game, Vivid, Auto Power Save, Filmmaker etc.). It also allows you to customize and tweet the colors to your own personal preference.
The internal speaker on this TV - I notice that the audio sound that came out from this TV is crisp and clear, it also has many different types of sound mode (Standard, Cinema, AI Sound Pro, Clear Voice, Sports, Game and Music),
Useful Functions - It has a screen saver built-in, so when you hit pause, the screen saver will start after few seconds or you can select the "Screen Off" function from the side manual and when you need to turn the screen back on, you just simply wave the magic remote and the screen will turn back on. It will save the TV from any burn-in shadowing.
I also love how the magic remote works, you can just point the remote to the TV and select the function you want, much faster than clicking the up, down, left and right button on the remote control.
We installed the LG GX65 OLED TV Gallery Design in our living room on a standalone wall that separates our living room and kitchen. The TV sits flush against the wall which makes it look just like a piece of artwork. It hangs on the wall exactly like a painting and there are no wires protruding from the TV which is SO nice! The lack of wires and cables showing makes your home space look clean, streamlined, and uncluttered. Really pleasing to the eye.
I can turn on the "Art Gallery" function which is a bit like a screen saver which is included in the TV. It provides a selection of old master paintings in frames and the picture looks 3D, it's amazing! The TV measures at 56.9" W x 32.7" H x 0.8" D and about 65 inches diagonal.

We have a lot of TVs in our house since we like entertainment and this TV is the best by far. I love the sleek design and the look of the TV and when they say gallery they were right since It looks beautiful on the wall. It is super thin and the picture quality is something I have never experienced before. You do need to play around with the settings for the picture since it’s on default when you receive it and we really noticed a difference. The picture is super clear and the sound feels like your in a movie theater. As soon as you turn on the TV all the featureS pop right up and is definitely a smart TV. You can easily connect to Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Vudu, Sling TV, WEB so, App Store, and Disney+ I love how it connects easily to Wifi but can also be connected via Ethernet and you can download apps right from the LG Content Store. I really like the full web browser that lets you search and how you can control it through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa enables devices or through the magic remote control which is really cool. It has 4 HDMI inputs which is really nice since these days you really need that many. The OLED technology is amazing and let’s each pixel emit its own light independently for superior viewing. LG ThinQ technology fully integrates Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa making it easy to control compatible smart devices. There are so many amazing features that make this TV so great including a3 Gen AI Processor 4K, Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atoms, Sports Alerts, web browsing, Apple TV, LG Channels, OLED motion pro, Filmmaker mode, Bluetooth Surround Ready and so much more. We couldn’t be happier with the look and love how it can be easily mounted to the wall. Installation was quick and easy and they helped us with the whole setup. The best thing it just having this TV to watch everyday. It almost makes it hard to watch a TV in another room. We will be looking into more LG TVs now that we have seen what they can do.

I was able to put the TV in "gallery mode" and display beautiful pictures of fine art that appeared to be actually hanging on the wall. Although this TV needs to be professionally mounted since there is no other way to display it, it is less than an inch from the wall and looks gorgeous. The inputs are on the back of TV and there are no visible wires so there is a clean look. There is a always-listening microphone and virtual assistant that uses ‘Hi LG’ as a wake phrase and includes a built in tuner with bright saturated colors and very dark blacks with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 making contrast levels seem more vibrant with ambient light sensor to optimize the content for your room. I have had the opportunity to test all the LG available apps and I absolutely love this ability. I have used my TV for streaming and watching regular TV. The picture quality is mesmerizing and the audio is cinema worthy.
