Visually, this TV can stand toe to toe with ts pricier more "exclusionary" competition and will look very nearly indistinguishable. I have quibbles with the user interface ergonomics but at this price point there really wasn't a rational alternative. I bought the GX because of the ATSC 3.0 Tuner. Finding a stand for that TV is the single worst complication that derives from owning it. But it can be done.

The 77" is plenty big for my media room, and the flush mount makes it look like a piece of art on the wall. The contrast is amazing, the colors are incredibly life-like, and it is wonderful to watch dark scenes without the blooming effect you see with other TV's. Very happy with the purchase.

The picture and sound quality couldn’t be better unless you’re in a movie theater and then I would question even then. We chose the GX because we wanted the tv to be flat against the wall with no wires showing. That’s exactly what we got and it really is awesome❣️ Watching the nature documentaries really showcases the brilliant picture and looking at the art masterpieces with the “frame” changing on every piece is genius. If you don’t know what I’m talking about then buy this gorgeous tv and find out all this LG OLED GX has to offer.
BTW I invited friends over to see my brand new house. They loved my house until they saw the tv and then that’s all they talked about. They bought the same tv the next day.

The TV does however occasionally switch off by itself. LG have tried once to fix it but the problem persists.
