Looking to buy the 55" version as well. You cannot go wrong with this model you will be very happy. Gaming? Incredible picture and resolution.

The only reason I did not give it a 5 star review is because the screen is reflective; if you have it near a window, you can clearly see the reflected light, which can make it distracting. Even overhead spotlights lights in the evening reflect off the screen.
