[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even turned off, this TV looks wonderful on my wall. The picture quality is by far the best I have seen with amazing depth and color range. The operating system is easy to use and full of great features. Perfect in every way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Traded up from a nice Panasonic Plasma along with a huge media stand. Didn't really know just how much technology has changed in the last 5 years. Now I have it hanging on the wall. All cords hidden. Soooo much cleaner. Better picture of course. Alexa wanted to chime in every 30 min interrupting the movie. Turned this off.

Incredible TV...but intrusive voice AI
on December 30, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV replaced a very high-end (in its day) Plasma TV and is an superb upgrade. Only two gripes.
1. speakers are good for most audio but light on bass so there is some speaker overload and rattle when bass-heavy scenes are shown (loud action, battles, etc.). Definitely needs an external speaker / sub-woofer upgrade if that's your thing.
2. The hands-free voice AI I had to kill. Took me a while to find it in the menu but finally had to make it operate by button push only on the remote. In hand-free mode it would fire up and try and respond to perceived requests at the most random times and even seemed to be triggered by things it thought it heard from the TV audio itself. Useless and very annoying.
Aside from these two items we love the TV and would purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG OLED line never ceases to amaze me. This new GX model is absolutely a piece of art and magic. Thin and Flush against the wall; it acts as if it’s a part of your home, and not just hanging and installed. The picture is unbelievably clear, smooth, and vibrant. I actually replaced a LG OLED W7 with this GX, and couldn’t be happier. The W7 was great, but I use a separate sound bar and system, since the mandatory LG sound bar for the W line doesn’t allow for a subwoofer; which is a major disappointment, as the subwoofer takes these TVs from an amazing TV, to a full theater experience.
So, now this W7 has the AI chip to upgrade your everyday viewing to a 4K like experience, seamlessly.
One of my only complaints is the remote. The remote feels a bit cheap. The larger magic remote for the W7 I had also had Fast Forward, Rewind, Play and Pause Buttons clearly on the remote. The casing felt solid, and the silver elevated it to that elegant, high quality feel that paired with such an extravagant TV. The GX, or I guess standard OLED remote, feels flimsy, the battery cover squeaks and creaks when you press a button, as it flexes under the lightest of pressures. Without the designated tracking buttons, some apps and viewing skips between scenes, or tracks much more or much less than you want.
My other gripe, is the app layout. On my W7 and my E8 that I still have, the interface allows you to add your HDMI Connections to the App Menu, thus toggling between Netflix, your Cable Provider, Hulu, you AppleTV attached device (the AppleTV app is good, but the apps are not available through it, like HBOMax, BeachBody On Demand, etc that are not available in the LG App Store), your BluRay Player. These devices are hidden in the GX menu, and if you make one slight mistake, you’re taken to a while new loading page that is a little over the top, and time consuming.
I do greatly wish LG would return the option to add these HDMI connections to your App Menu like their previous models. Was so much more streamlined and user friendly. That alone would make me give it the full 5 Star review
Could not be happier with this TV and line.
As an aside, based off below questions: I would absolutely review and post everywhere, LG TVs snd devices if given or loaned to me for doing so. I purchased my LG OLED77GX fully on my own. But so do product reviews and share them all the time.

Awesome picture quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a remarkable TV. The picture quality is just incredible. 4K products look almost 3D and the black definition is unbelievable. The only issue we have is getting the Harmony remote to fully integrate with the TV. We have a theatre setup and want to use one remote. The LG remote will not operate our cable box. Does this detract from the TV? Not one iota, I would purchase it again today.

Incredibly Beautiful Picture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation team for the TV arrived an hour later than the installers for new air conditioning, so the house was seriously active on the 9th of September (with full Covid precautions) ! When the first picture appeared from the Roku (the aquarium) my socks would have been blown off, had I been wearing any.... Incredibly beautiful picture. I might mention that I have been watching video professionally since 1973 on ridiculously expensive TV studio monitors from Conrac and Tektronix. LG rules.

Great Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set was purchased, after much reviewing, to replace a 60" set. With the very thin bezel it occupies even less space on the wall than the 60". just as all other reviews stated the OLED black levels are incredible!
The included wall mount did not work for us, as it is too dependent on the position of the wall studs. We used our existing Sanus LL11 Vision Mount..........which worked perfectly and only added about 1/4" to the depth from the wall. This is an incepredible Monitor, expensive, but in a year when our travel budget was not being used......well worth every penny!
Pros: Style/Design
