Price was expensive but I haven’t bought a tv in 12 years, hoping that this will last like my older 1 did

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor my LG 65" GX OLED replaced was a 48" 1080P Panasonic plasma screen. The contrast between the two considering that both monitors are "high definition" is huge. It's obvious your dealing with a new technology. Even though the screen is much larger the amount of usable detail from increased resolution and the increase in contrast from the oled technology makes watching a movie a new experience. I feel like I'm watching movies from my collection for the first time. I'm excited and looking forward to see all my titles again. The most satisfying tech buy for me, perhaps ever.

Good Tv except for voice recognition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture is excellent. Two areas that I am having problems with are interfacing with Alexa and the television keeps thinking that we are talking to it.
When I first installed the television the interface with Alexa was just fine. After adding the LG sound bar then the television would no longer work with Alexa. It may be due to ARC being turned on.
The other issue I have is that during a program we are watching the television will mute the program and tell us that voice is not recognized. The television is picking up the program audio being picked up. Other than that the television is fantastic.

The TV listens and will sometimes stop and say they don't understand. Would give the TV absolutely 5 stars if I could figure out how to turn that option off.
