The X390 performs well, it starts up fast. The screen is adequate, trackpad takes a bit of learning. We are happy with our purchase and recommend this laptop to our friends.
This laptop is an upgrade to my old acer one which i only got for 500 so this is a huge jump. Love colors and screen resolution, sound quality. Most important thing for me is light weight so this is pretty light as compared to others i have seen. Only problem i found so far is different ports on the sides are not as smooth. I cannot comment on reliability because i just purchased. Maybe leave another review after a year.
So far I have really enjoyed using this laptop. I bought it because I am working at home due to COVID-19. The laptop runs very well. It's fast and does all the things I need it to. Unfortunately it scratches very easily. It was in my backpack with my keys and wallet and after walking for about 15 minutes it was scratched in multiple places. I understand that this is my fault for not having it in a backpack with a separate lining; however I didn't think that 15 minutes would be a big deal - my mistake. The other issue I have with this laptop is the automatic adds that pop up daily. I need to find out how to turn those off. I've never had a laptop that automatically sends me advertisements - so I feel a little annoyed that these are popping up often. Overall, it is a great laptop. I highly recommend it - especially with the back to school sale (maybe just get a case for it, or ensure when you're carrying it you protect it from your other items).
The laptop is a great, but in order to be perfect, you should have the ethernet port built in. There are solutions with drop door for a jack. in stead of confusion of dongles and non practicality.
