The last space heater I had (it died last week) was from the 1970s. I am happy to pay more for a heater that lasts! I hope this 5 year warranty is an indication of vornado's longevity. Initial impression is good. Nice that it throttles back the heat and fan as the setpoint is reached. Once the room is warm, it can idle along like that and barely make any noise.

I am Surprised at how well this little heater works. The thermostat works great at keeping the room at a set temperature. I also like the timer feature. My favorite part is that it doesn’t have hot coils like other space heaters. It simply blows warm air across the room lowering the whole room temperature not just where the heater is positioned.

Heats well, and LOUDLY!

I am admittedly a Vornado loyalist, and this was the latest addition to my collection. I have been fond of Vornado heaters on the past because they heat effectively while not being so loud. This little box works dreamily at heating up a pretty big open-concept home with vaulted ceilings, but it is so loud I can’t hear over it. I assume it has to do with the box casing, but I am about to return this unfortunately, in hopes that a different model might be quieter. Here’s hoping.
My other qualm with this one is the cord. I am accustomed to the usual cords on Vornados. This one feels cheap and has no malleability to it, so it unplugs with the slightest nudge of the cord. Considering this is meant to be a higher end heater, I expected much more.

Vornado does an excellent job. Everything works likes it says it does. Quiet, adjusts to temperature, intuitive. It's even nice looking.

I bought this unit to keep the baby’s nursery at a steady 70 over night it’s the only unit I trusted with a quality thermostat to turn its self on and off. Two years down the line it started making a funny noise and they replaced it no questions asked. Great service we’ll be customers for years to come.

Impressive little heater

Bought this to take the chill out of the bathroom on the chilly winter days. Especially nice to have a warmer room to shower in. So far the temps haven't dropped to FREEZING but the heater is making the bathroom warm. Will review later in March after winter has HIT.

Just in Time...

Received our unit just before New Orleans experienced a 100 year 12" snow and 72 hours of freezing weather. Our new unit was put to work very quickly to supplement our central heating system and has kept us very comfortable these past few days... This unit replaced previous Vornado purchased 7 years ago.
