Nice portable heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater is powerful for its size. I use in in my basement while working. Has the two settings of 750w or 1500w like most heaters.I have only used the 750w and that works fine. The digital screen is easy to use. Timer works accurately. When you turn it off it runs for another 20 seconds to get the excess heat out which is nice. It has a lip on the top which makes it easy to lift. The one thing I wish this did have, is a remote. Also when it starts to regulate the temperature in the room, my lights flicker a little. Not sure if it's just the type of lights I have or where it's plugged in. But that never happened with any of my other heaters I've had.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good heater!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a decent sized space heater. Maybe about the height and width of a spiral notebook of paper. It has a touch screen for the settings menu. It has a somewhat loud fan but I'm assuming that it helps blow the heat farther. It definitely does help warm the room. Also when you turn it off, it counts down from 15 cooling down as well. It has a red light to show that it's on also. If it gets picked up at all it turns off. I'm sure knocked over also but luckily it hasn't been knocked over. The outside doesn't get hot to the touch either which is good . All in all, I think it's a good heater.

Good heater with one glaring exception

I have owned several Vornado heaters over the years and genuinely liked them very much. This heater would be fantastic if the thermostat was more accurate (about 4° off ) and the unit cycled on and off properly…however it repeatedly comes on for 10 -20 seconds and shuts back off so often that it is annoying. It also inexplicably cycles on when the indicated temp is higher than the set point. I am disappointed as the form factor and the control panel are close to being perfect. Not sure I will keep it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After A Year, I Will Get Something Else

I have used this heater for over a year. While it is okay, I am ultimately disappointed. Given the cost, I would choose a different Vornado and likely will. My complaints are as follows: poor temperature sensing and auto on/off, noise, and interface.
The biggest drag with this is how poorly it manages on/off functions. You set a temperature and it turns on. It keeps going well above that temperature, which is potentially fine. It stops, then a few seconds later, it starts again. It continually cycles around this way, which is somewhat strange and unpleasant. This is made more annoying by my next point: the noise.
I have a Vornado fan. It is awesome. It has a continuously adjustable fan speed and it is quiet and smooth. This heater is quite loud and has a bit of a rattle. It is enough to be somewhat distracting. Couple this its deeply annoying cycling of turning on and turning off and the thing is not pleasant to have in the room.
The interface on this is also not great. The controls do not always respond to touch and the unit insists upon spinning up for 20 seconds when you turn it off. It will do this even if it has not been running for some time. It is not awesome.
All these things sum to a less than pleasant experience. While not shockingly expensive, it is not cheap and should be better for the money.
Okay, what did I like? It looks nice and is not very large. It does manage to heat the room and does so with reasonable efficiency. It does not smell funny when running and has been reliable. I am going to look into another Vornado heater that is a bit larger and more conventional. Hopefully, it will be quieter.

Great for small spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this heater for our bedroom, it's a small room and it does great. I set it for 75 and it heats the room up within 45 minuets. The night mode is great it turns the LCD screen off when it senses you've turned off the light. It is a bit loud so if your sensitive to noise while sleeping it might bother some people. I personally like it it's like a white noise. Definitely reccomend if you have kids the sides do not get hot and the tip over sensor is very sensitive just the slightest bump will cause it to turn off which means if it gets flipped over it will definitely shut off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater was a great upgrade from the heater I had without a thermostat. I have it under my desk and it regulates the temperature great. I used it in the garage for the first few days because there was a smell. I was concerned there may have been a piece of styrofoam or plastic on the heater but wasn't able to locate one. Took about 24 hours of run time outside over three days to be able to use the product inside where I didn't smell anything.
